I want to start this Worldwide Brands review by talking about what WWB is and why supplier directories like this one and Salehoo are so useful, then make a comparison of Worldwide Brands to their closest competitor – the Salehoo Wholesaler Directory.
WWB is a directory of about 8-9,000 dropshippers and wholesalers, with more than sixteen million products from these suppliers in a searchable database. It costs $299 for membership and comes with access to forums, market research tools and some online retail tutorial videos.
The key advantage of using a directory of suppliers like Worldwide Brands or Salehoo is that they collect together all the major suppliers for each product category in one place – making it much easier and faster to find a reputable supplier of the products you're looking for.
In addition to this, directories research or 'screen' suppliers before adding them to their lists, meaning that you can buy from them with confidence knowing they are not scams.
What about Salehoo?
Salehoo is pretty much the same as Worldwide Brands is every way, apart form two key differences. First of all Salehoo lists only about 10% as many products as Worldwide Brands, and secondly Worldwide Brands (unlike Salehoo) is the only directory to be fully certified by eBay.
Which is better?
They are both good – but my top recommendation would be Worldwide Brands. It still has an edge over the competition.
